NBA App announces new updates for NBA Play

With the 2024-25 season underway, NBA Play has returned with new and improved enhancements to engage users. Fans will continue to be able to put their NBA knowledge to the test with six daily games and hundreds more available through the NBA ID archive.
Additionally, new NBA Play features rolling out this year include a personalized box score for users, both daily and weekly streaks, and a revamped NBA ID archive that allows fans to filter by game type and level of difficulty.

The new, personalized “box score” provides a way for NBA ID Members to track their progress throughout the season, featuring career games played, win-loss record and their career-high streak. Users who play three times or more each week will earn a Player Weekly Streak badge. If fans need an initial benchmark to strive for, the 1971-72 Los Angeles Lakers currently hold the longest win-streak in NBA History with 33 straight wins.
Here’s a breakdown on the six daily games available for all users: 
In the ultimate NBA knowledge quiz, fans are given five players, teams or events to choose from based on the question. The goal is to answer correctly in fewer than three attempts. 
A new feature has been added this year to allow users to drag and drop guesses into place.
Fans have three chances to guess the correct player with a new clue given after each wrong answer. 
This year, clues are rolled out one at a time. If you get it right on the first try, cue the confetti!  
Guess the list of teams a player has played for throughout their career – but here’s the twist: you must guess in the correct order.
Just like in NBA Rank, you can now drag and drop your guesses into place. 
Fans have two minutes to fill in the leaderboard with questions featuring topics from NBA past and present. The quicker you answer, the better your chance to earn bragging rights. 
The daily trivia game is one of the best ways to stay on top of the action happening on the court night in and night out. Keep your finger on the NBA pulse with this multiple-choice contest and see how many you can get right out of ten. Scores higher than 7/10 earn you a win on the board! 
In this interactive game, two players are selected, and fans are challenged to find the common connection. 
This year introduces a new rarity outcome to rank connections, ranging from common to uncommon, rare and epic. Shoot your shot and tally up your high score.
